Sunflower / सूरजमुखी

A sunflower, known as Surajmukhi (सूरजमुखी) in Hindi, is a tall flowering plant belonging to the genus Helianthus. Sunflowers naturally turn towards the sun, a behaviour called heliotropism, especially in their growing stage. They are widely cultivated for their seeds and cooking oil. In India, surajmukhi is valued both as an ornamental plant and as an important agricultural crop, symbolising positivity, strength, and vitality.

Whats in the flowers? 

• Ka-Sha production remnants - which means fabric pieces left over after our cutting and sewing processes which would otherwise be discarded. 
• Sewing material remnants like threads, beads, thread reels and so on
  

How are they made?

• They are hand-made
• We sort our production remnants by colour and size and reuse them back into products through our Heart to Haat Initiative. 

CARING FOR YOUR FLOWER/S

All our products are hand-crafted (hand-dyed, embroidered, some hand-woven) and need your utmost love and care. The Flowers you have are made from our production remnants - hence they may or may not be absolutely identical.

• Please do not bleach.
• Please do not keep under direct sunlight
• We recommend lightly wiping them with a clean, slightly damp, preferably white/ undyed cloth or sponge
• Please do dust them regularly with a clean & soft fabric to keep them dust-free.
• Do not immerse in water
• Do not wash in a washing machine

• Only the selected flower/s is part of the order, all other items are solely for representative purposes.
• The product colour may vary slightly in actual due to photography lighting conditions/ your device type/ screen settings. Kindly bear this in mind.

• We usually take between 3-4 Working Days to ship. Please note that orders with multiple pieces will take additional time depending the number of pieces.
