Interactive Workshop with Ka-Sha

An interactive workshop where we explore fabric as a story telling medium through traditional hand stitching + embroidery. We converse, cut, patch, and enhance pre-loved textiles using simple stitches to create upcycled pieces of art filled with memories. Through this workshop, we aim to share how to use intangible ideas to create tangible surfaces. The exchange of ideas, dialogue and the sense of community is what is of most significance.

Participants will receive a material kit to work alongside.
